Songs: It continues!

Yes, I’m actually posting again. All because of a song which I find amazing! It’s a Butch Clancy remix of Amy Kuney’s song Sway. Who’s Butch Clancy? And Amy Kuney? Well Butch is, to quote his biography , “Half human, half subwoofer”. So expect big, bass-driven sounds and amazing vocals. You may have heard of his songs in the amazing videos of someone dancing to dubstep, or maybe on the Ellen Show. Yes, that’s right, he was featured on an international show!

You can find the song here, and the free download here.

Songs: Round 2

I will start dong this regularly, someday. Maybe fortnightly or monthly.

Oasis – Wonderwall

A classic, an amazing song which is a favourite of mine.

Notixx – Bits and Pieces

Another free song from the amazing duo by the name of Notixx.  8-bit drumstep never sounded so good!

Songs

I’m a bit slack so ill give you a few now :) The posts’ll be on Friday or Saturday Arvo’s

First up, a small electronic music duo, Notixx. They recently released their EP, Bedtime Stories. It is, quite easily, their best work. You can buy it on Beatport or iTunes.

Next, a new(ish) song by Gotye (pronounced gore-ti-yeah). Somebody That I Used to Know is a song that grows on you. Available on iTunes

And lastly, another small artist, Notebook. He is a rapper with quite a few good songs but ill leave you my favourite. Blindfolds is a collaboration with Crickets Make Math, whose music I’ll feature next week.

Weekly Song?

I might start linking videos weekly – either music I’ve been listening to or that has captured my attention. I might to a bit of a background on the artist (if I can be bothered) and link their websites etc. so you can find out more easily :)

To start off I have a song which I wouldn’t usually listen too – its called ‘Breathe Me‘ by an Australian artist by the name of Sia.
